Conservation of Wildlife and Ranching
Dear Friends,
I invite you to learn about our small ranching cooperative, Saguaro Juniper, in southeastern Arizona. We have been organized around the same founding covenant for nearly thirty years, since our origin in a group of people led by Jim Corbett among others. For most of our thirty years, we have been organized as a profit-making (ha ha) corporation. But recently, we received non-profit (educational) 501c3 status.
I hope Friends will understand that gaining governance of this land originally depended on holding an Arizona state grazing lease on the largest portion of the land. However, our actual mission has always been the restoration of long overgrazed range.

I especially hope that Friends will read our land covenant.
