Mountain Friends Camp 2026 welcomes Friends and friends of all ages to New Mexico this summer!

June 25-30: Staff Orientation
July 1-July 4: Family Camp (families with children ages 9 and under)
July 6-18: Youth Camp (overnight camp for ages 10-15)
July 18-23: Adventure Camp (travel and wilderness add-on ages 11-15)

Limited Space available for Family Camp, Youth Camp and Adventure Camp, and Camp Staff Needed!

Staff applications are open on our website, please share and consider joining us this summer! Are you looking to make a real difference this summer? To connect more deeply with nature, community, friends and your own best self? Working at camp is not just another summer job, it will be immersive, challenging, inspiring, fun and memorable. We are recruiting:
~Counselors and program staff
~Kitchen Staff
~Lifeguards*
~Medics*
~Shorter term volunteers/work trade support staff!

Paid staff are generally 18+ and available for at least 3 weeks this summer. Older and younger adults are all welcome to apply. We also welcome shorter term volunteers/work trade! Some 17-year-olds who have completed a summer as a CIT and/or already graduated from high school are welcome to apply as staff as well!

*Mountain Friends Camp can reimburse the cost of lifeguard and/or wilderness first aid/responder training for qualified staff!
