Sharing Session – Housing and Homelessness

The Peace and Social Concerns Committee of North Pacific Yearly Meeting invites you to join a cross-meeting sharing session on housing and homelessness issues.

Tuesday, December 13, 2022
6:30 PM Pacific = 7:30 PM Mountain.

You can come to listen or to share your own experience or the experience in your Meeting or Worship Group. The session will start with three short presentations:

• Chris Ferguson, Tacoma Meeting, on state legislation to address structural racism in housing – what Quaker Voice has learned
• Ralph Gilliam, Multnomah Meeting, on Multnomah’s long pathway towards greeting our homeless neighbors
• Jonathan Betz-Zall, University Friends Meeting, on finding our Way among conflicting leadings when the homeless move into our meetinghouse
